
PROFILE
Adam Kargman has experience in a broad array of civil litigation, including general business litigation, entertainment law, and intellectual property. He has tried cases in both federal and state court. While at Isaacs | Friedberg, Mr. Kargman has represented an NFL star in a suit against an multinational banking corporation, represented the founders of a satellite company in whistleblower and fraud actions against their former employer and several foreign companies, defended a Hollywood casting director against charges under the Krekorian Talent Act, defended a music artist and his corporation in a breach of contract action arising from a concert event, and represented elderly plaintiffs in a fraud suit against a prominent Los Angeles law firm.
Mr. Kargman began his career at an Am Law Top 10 Law Firm. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona College of Law, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and subsequently earned an LL.M. in Entertainment and Media Law. Through the Southwestern Law School Entertainment and the Arts Legal Clinic, Mr. Kargman has provided business and legal affairs services for four independent feature films and a webseries. He has published articles in the Los Angeles Lawyer Magazine, the Los Angeles Daily Journal, and the ABA Intellectual Property Committee Newsletter, and recently authored a chapter in Copyright Litigation Strategies, a reference book published by the ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law. While in law school, he wrote an award-winning student note for the Arizona Law Review.
